Slip Rails
This is the simplest form of course access. They are intended to be used where quick and easy entry to the racecourse is required. This form of opening can only be installed in a straight line. The opening is created by having a rail of smaller diameter than the main rail sliding inside the main rail. In the closed position the slip rail is locked into place with a pin. To open, the pin is removed, and the slip rail is pulled back inside the outer rail.
The sliding rail in this system can be of a different colour to the racerail so that in the event of an accident the emergency services can easily identify the nearest access point to the incident. We recommend bright yellow as the alternative to white.
