Mid Course

With unpredictable weather patterns it has become imperative for racecourses to protect good ground conditions and wherever possible not over use their tracks. Where multiple day meetings take place this is particularly important. The double rail system was developed by Barriers in 1989 to simply divide a wide track into two adjacent courses.

Two parallel rails locked together using brackets & spacers supported on single straight posts ensures that the system will withstand the heaviest of contacts.

All PVC parts are manufactured using high grade, virgin, UV stabilized & impact modified materials. Barriers International offers a warranty on all PVC extrusions providing the systems are installed by Barriers approved contractors.  All individual parts carry a two year warranty against manufacturing defects.  For further information and detailed maintenance schedules please refer to our maintenance manual.
